Course Overview

A Private Pilot Licence allows you to fly anywhere in Australia and gain ratings (including night VFR and Instrument ratings) and endorsements to fly many exciting new aircraft.
The requirements for a PPL are as follows:

  • Be at least 17 years old (at the time of sitting your licence test)
  • Have a Class 1, 2, or 5 medical certificate, or a recreational aviation medical (conditions apply)
  • Be able to pass an aviation English language proficiency (AELP) assessment
  • Pass the PPL(A) Knowledge Exam
  • Pass a flight test

This course can be done at your own pace – from full time to one day a week. Our instructors can tailor a personalised program that gives you maximum value for money and an enjoyable learning experience balancing both theory and practical elements.
